Description
Phalaenopsis Lioulin Orange Peloric is a specific cultivar of the orchid hybrid Phalaenopsis Lioulin Orange, which was originated by Huang Gao Ming in 2006 and registered with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS). The hybrid is a cross between Phalaenopsis Brother Sara Gold and Phalaenopsis Tzu Chiang Orange. The “Peloric” designation indicates a genetic mutation causing the petals to resemble the lip of the flower, resulting in its distinctive “butterfly” appearance, and this trait can be unstable, leading to variation.
