Cymbidium Prapuy Luang ‘Pakkret’ originated in Thailand and was developed by Pakkret Floriculture in Bangkok. This hybrid orchid was registered in 2007 by Pakkret Floriculture as a cross between Cymbidium Tender Love and Cymbidium ensifolium. Its lineage is composed of approximately 75% Cymbidium ensifolium and 25% Cymbidium sanderae. This hot-tolerant Cymbidium is also noted for its fragrance, which is attributed to the influence of Cymbidium parishii and Cymbidium ensifolium in its parentage.
