Phalaenopsis Pinlong Cheris (3” Pot)
Phalaenopsis Pinlong Cheris is a registered hybrid within the Phalaenopsis genus. It was registered with the Royal Horticultural Society in 1999 by Today Trop. Nurs. Its parentage is a cross between Phalaenopsis Rothschildiana and Phalaenopsis Timothy Christopher.
The primary species influencing this hybrid, listed in order of genetic contribution, are:
Phalaenopsis amabilis (25%)
Phalaenopsis schilleriana (25%) – subgenus Phalaenopsis, section Phalaenopsis
Phalaenopsis aphrodite (25%) – subgenus Phalaenopsis, section Phalaenopsis
This Phalaenopsis is known to produce fragrance during blooming; however, the intensity of the scent can vary. At times, the fragrance may be noticeable, while at other times it may be faint or absent. Please be aware that fragrance is not always guaranteed with each bloom.
